1. Packaging- Create packaging that is suitable both for offline and online sales. So no matter if you had to close your shop, or suddenly to open, your products are ideal for both kinds of business. 2. Bring new products to your shop– It’s your job to make sure that no matter if your business is going online or offline, customers always have a reason to visit your business. So howSo how do you create this kind of reason? First, you make them get used to the fact that you bring new items all the time. This way, even if it’s more complicated to buy from your business due to the restrictions, they will still make the efforts.
3. Ask your supplier to pre-pack your products for mail delivery- One of my customers had the problem that he couldn’t have many employees in his warehouse during the lockdown. So there was no enough human resources to pack each item when he got the order. When I say pack, I don’t mean to the regular box. I mean the actual packaging you need to deliver the product in the post. Cardboard packaging, address details, etc. The way we solved it was by pre-packing some of the items already in China. We packed them with a cardboard box, a sticker with the return address and a barcode. So when he received the goods, he didn’t need a big team to handle the pick and pack work.
